Tent Peak also known as Tharpu Chuli. Tent Peak (5663 m) is one of the trekking peaks in Nepal. Tharpu peak has been a nice central position in the Annapurna Sanctuary. The ascent requires ice climbing equipment.

Before to climb Tent peak it was necessary a climbing permit from Nepal Mountaineering Association, but Nepal Government was free to climb any peak less than 6000 m height. As of 2017 NMA has removed Tharpu Chuli from its list. Now any climbers can climb that peak without permit. It is not technical climbing but requires necessity climbing equipment and set Base camp and High camp too.

To reach the tent peak base camp there are server ways until Chumrung either you can directly go from Nayapul to Chhumrung all the way to Annapurna Base Camp or you can make Ghorepani Circuit trek than heading to Chumrung then Annapurna Base Camp or you can start trek from Phedi all the way to Jinu Danda than Annapurna Base Camp. It is a possible hotel/ Lodge/tea house trekking until the Annapurna base camp. From Annapurna Base camp, Asian Hiking Team manages all necessary camping. Stay one night in base camp in a tented house. We fix high camp if you are a learner. From High Camp success the tent peak climbing and return to Annapurna Base camp.

Asian Hiking Team organizes the tent peak or Tharpu peak climbing combined with the Annapurna base camp trekking. We have well experience climbing Sherpa who has been many times on the top of Tent peak, so feel free to contact for your success climbing.
