Kusum Kanguru, 6369 meters, dominating the southern end of Charpati Himal separates the valley of the Dudh Koshi from the upper reaches of Hinku Drangka. Kusum Khanguru peak is a complex, triple, summit, mountain having at least five major ridges and faces. The north face of the main summit is the most spectacular one.

The name of Kusum Kanguru comes from Tibetan meaning, three Snow Peaks. Kusum Kanguru is one of the most difficult trekking peaks to climb. Kusum Kanguru Peak was first ascended in the autumn of 1979 by a Japanese team. Asian Hiking Team organize the Kusum Kangu peak climbing as clients demand with affordable price and experience Sherpa guide.

Day by Day Itinerary:

Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu; transfer to the Hotel, overnight in Kathmandu.

Day 02: Preparation day – check equipment, sightseeing around Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel.

Trekking Start

Day 03: Flight to Lukla (2340m) then trek to Chutanga, overnight camp or Lodge.

Day 04: Trek from Chutanga to Thuli Kharka (4400m), overnight camp or Lodge.

Day 05: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Tashing Ongma (3600m), overnight camp.

Day 06: Trek from Tashing Ongma to Tangnag (4350m), overnight camp.

Day 07: Rest day at Tangnag for Acclimatization, overnight camp.

Climbing Period

Day 08: Trek from Tangnag to Kusum Khangru Base Camp (4360m) overnight camp.

Day 09: Trek from base camp to High camp (5100m), overnight camp.

Day 10: Rest day at High camp for Acclimatization, overnight camp.

Day 11: Climb High camp (5100m) to Camp I or Advance high Camp (5600m), overnight camp.

Day 12: Summit Kusum Khangru (6367m) and back to High Camp, overnight camp.

Day 13: High Camp to Tashmg Ongma, overnight camp.

Day 14: Spare day for Climbing, overnight camp.

Day 15: Trek from Tashmg Ongma to Thuli Kharka, overnight camp or Lodge.

Day 16: Trek from Thuli Kharka to Lukla, overnight Hotel.

Ending Trekking

Day 17: Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, evening farewell dinner in typical Nepali restaurant & stay at star label hotel on BB plan.

Days 18: Departure on your own destination.
