Asian Hiking Team Awarded by Nepal Mountaineering Association

Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) an alpine club of Nepal has distribution Letter of Appreciation Awarded top 10 trekking agency among the Resource Members in contributing revenue through the issuance of climbing permit of NMA peaks in the fiscal year 2081/082 BS.

On October 10, 2025, at the 35th Annual General Meeting of NMA held at Silver Oks, Gairidhara, Kathmandu, we were awarded 5th position among the top 10 agencies in service charge contributions for NMA’s 27 peaks.

Inaugurating the 35 Annual General Meeting is chaired by NMA president Phurba Gyalge Sherpa, Chef Guest Secretory of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr Hariprasad Mainali, DG of Tourism Department, Dr. Narayan Prasad Regmi, CEO of Nepal Tourist Board, Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, and HAN, TAAN, NATA, VITOF, summiteers, and many others organization president are present as guest. Chef Guest Secretory of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Mr Hariprasad Mainali, DG of Tourism Department, Dr. Narayan Prasad Regmi, CEO of Nepal Tourist Board, Mr. Deepak Raj Joshi, and NMA president hand-over the awards to Team Leader of Asian Hiking Team, “Mr. Suman Neupane”.

We’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made this possible, to our dedicated team members, guides, porters, and administrative staff and to our climbers who trust us with their peak ambitions. This recognition inspires us to raise the bar even higher in terms of safety, accountability, and service, said by “Team Leader” Mr Neupane.

The event was attended by more than 1000 national and international submitters, climbers, guides, Expedition operators, climbing inspectors, icefall doctors, government secretary and general member of NMA.
