Yala Peak is one of Nepal’s easier trekking peak, a fantastic beginner mountaineering trip. Yala peak climbing is one of the popular adventure trips in the Langtang region for a view of Langtang Himalaya range on the summit. Yala peak 5637m is an easier and non-technical trekking peak in Nepal lies in the north of Kathmandu valley. As the Climbing Yala peak is not difficult for climbing, prior climbing experience is not required, though previous outdoor experience and average level of fitness is recommended.

Asian Hiking Team’s professional climbing Sherpa/Guide will take you to your safe way to summit the Yala peak as you expect. Our company will arrange the Langtang valley trekking with better acclimatization than preferred for Yala peak climbing, which makes it easy to reach your destination and summit the Yala peak. Yala peak expedition offers beautiful Himalayan views of the whole Langtang region, world's most beautiful Langtang valley, dazzling views into Tibet and across to Shisapangma, the only 8000-meter peak situated wholly in Tibet.

Yala peak climbing, trekking start from Syabrubesi 6/8 driving from Kathmandu and spend 3 days hiking up the beautiful Langtang valley to Kyanjin Gompa at 3800 m. Kyanjin Gompa is situated below Langtang Lirung (7246 m) and we spend one /two days acclimatizing by taking day-hikes in spectacular surroundings. We establish base camp on a meadow at 4800 m and climb Yala Peak the next day. The last 400 m is on ice, so we will be using crampons, ice axes and rope.

From the summit we can see Shishapangma (8046 m) and the fluted Gangchempo (6388 m), Langtang Lirung, Dorje Lakpa. After the summit of the Yala peak, it is possible either direct trek to Shyabru Besi or end trek in Chisapani Sundarijal via Gosainkunda pass trekking. The itinerary here describes a trek that starts from Syabru Besi and ends in Syabru Besi.

Yala peak does not require a climbing permit. You can do without permit but should need climbing guide with his insurance. It is possible a long journey to start from Kyanjing to the top of Yala peak, but we recommend you to stay one night in High camp then push to the summit. The guide need to fix the rope if you have a small group. Otherwise, we climb by alpine style. However, there are moving rock and ice.
