The Annapurna Circuit trekking is the popular trekking name for a 300 kilometer trek in Nepal; it includes the high pass Thorong-La. Annapurna trek reaches an altitude of 5,416 meters top of Thorong La pass, touching the edge of the fabled Tibetan plateau. Annapurna magnificent mountain scenery, seen at close quarters includes Annapurna 1, 8091 meter which was the first 8,000 meter peak to be climbed, the magnificent ice pyramid Dhaulagiri 8,167 meters, Machhupuchhare 6,993 meters, considered by many to be the most beautiful mountain in the world, and once the home of the legendary Buddhist guru Padmasamba.

Annapurna circuit trek follows ancient paths used as trade routes between Nepal and Tibet. Annapurna trail has long facilitated the flow of cultures and religions in this remote and formerly inaccessible region. Today Tibetan Mahayana Buddhism, Hinduism and the mysterious Bon-PO religion still coexist and interpenetrate one another in Annapurna region which contains many pilgrimage sites. Climbing Thorong La pass from Manang side is the best because of it is so clipped and long way climbs from Muktinath side and end the trek in Jomsom or Nayapul.

Annapurna Circuit trekking start from Besi Sahar, “Lamjung district head quarter” 5 to 6 hours is driving from Kathmandu. Now a day the seasonal road head to Chame or Manang. Given itinerary is starting trekking from Basi Sahar so it takes 7-8 days to reach Thorong Phedi or High camp including one day acclimatization day in Manang. From Thorong Phedi 8 to 10 hours walk to reach Muktinath. There is a seasonable tea shop on the top. Crossing the many mountain terraces, its look near but you need to carry up. 

Explore the Hindus and Buddhist pilgrims Muktinath and continues walking through Jomsom, Marpha, Kalopani to Tatopani (natural hot spring) where you can take your tried muscle and relax in Tatopani. Or it is possible to fly from Jomsom to Pokhara, drive by Jeep/Bus from Muktinath to Tatopani or directly Beni, Pokhara and Kathmandu. The circuit trek is possible combined with an Annapurna base camp trek within extra one week, the walk continues from Tatopani to Ghorepani and entry to Annapurna Base Camp from Chhumrung.

If a given itinerary is not matching as your interest and time frame, lets us know we re-design another itinerary for you. Either drives into Chame and after cross Thorung La, from Muktinath drive all the way to Pokhara or flight from Jomsom or continues the trek to Nayapul.

Day 04: Jagat to Dharapani 1943m 5.30 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 05: Dharapani to Chame (2713m), 5 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 06: Chame to Upper Pisang (3115m) 5 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 07: Upper Pisang to Manang (3450m) 6 hours, use upper part off road, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 08: Rest day in Manang for Acclimatization (B/L/D):

Day 09: Manang trek to Yak Kharka (4200m) 4 hours, overnight Guest house/tea house (B/L/D):

Day 10: Yak Kharka trek to Thorong Phedi (4450m) or High camp (4850m), 4.30 hours, overnight tea house (B/L/D):

Day 11: Trekking to Muktinath - hardest day to cross Thorong La Pass (5416m) continues trek to Muktinath (3800m) 6/8 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 12: Marpha - Trek to Jomsom or Marpha 2667m 5.30 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Note: it is possible to drive directly Marpha or directly to go Tatopani or Pokhara through Beni by Jeep or Bus. You can make treks shorter or longer, lets us know. But our itinerary here are trekking you all the way to Nayapul and short drive to Pokhara.

Day 13: Marpha trekking to Ghasa 2010m), 6-7 hours, overnight at hotel (B/L/D):

Day 14: Kalopan trek to Tatopani (1189m) Drive by Jeep 6 hours, change in Ghana, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 15: Tatopani treks to Ghorepani (2850m) 6 hours, overnight Guest house/Lodge (B/L/D):

Day 16: Early morning visit Poon Hill (3210m) and trek to Tikhedunga (1575m) continues to Nayapul 6 hours and drive to Pokhara 1.30 hours, overnight Hotel (B/L/D):

End the trekking 

Day 17: Kathmandu - Travel to Kathmandu by tourist coach 6 hours, 200km (BB):

Day 18: Drop to Airport for your own way journey or next trip (B):
