It is protected by the Sagarmatha National Park, established in 1976 and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site of "outstanding universal value". Sherpa is one of the ethnic group inhabitants to the most mountainous regions of Nepal and the Himalayas. We take an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla then head up to Phakding, Namche Bazaar, a one full day exploring the Everest view point, the Sherpa villages Khumjung and Khunde in Namche. The trek continues to Thame valley where is the beautiful monastery, the homeland of the famous Sherpa climbers. You can talk and share the knowledge of local Sherpa people and their family about culture and climbing history. The monastery looks like Bhutan “Tiger nest”, we call Nepal’s Tiger Nest”. After that, we headed to Kongde, where very few tourists make a plan at that destination. One another full day to visit Kongde RI side trip and the sunrise and sunset view over Everest and many other 1000 peaks once a place. We drop to Jorsule to catch the main trail walk to Lukla then a 30 minutes flight to Kathmandu.

Day by day itinerary

Day 01 – Early morning flight Kathmandu to Lukla (2850m) 30 minutes flight, trek to Phakding (2640m) 3–4 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 02 - Trek to Namche Bazaar (3540m) 5 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 03 – Namche; day hike to Khumjung/Khunde village, return to Namche, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 04 - Trek to Thame (3820m) 3–4 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 05 - Trek to Kongde (4250m) 6–7 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 06 - Kongde - visit Kongde Ri, explore round the valley, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 07 - Trek to Phakding (2640m) 4–6 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 08 - Trek to Lukla (2840m) 3 hours, overnight at Hotel (B/L/D).

Day 09 - Flight Lukla to Kathmandu (1340m) 30 minutes flight, transfer to Hotel, free day, (end the trip) (B/L).
