The Everest View Trek is one of the shortest trekking in the Everest region. For trekkers who have a short time but want to visit the Everest region, this is the best trekking option. The Everest shortest trekking route provides close-up views of Everest and a chance to spend time in the Sherpa villages and monasteries. The route takes you into the Everest area, one of the busiest in Nepal. You will reach a maximum altitude of, 3868 m, requiring a moderate level of physical fitness to complete this trek comfortably.

The Everest View Trek takes you through the lush vegetation of Sagarmatha National Park, with pine forests, rhododendron flowers, and an abundance of wildlife. Everest View trekking is situated at 3,868 meters in the Sagarmatha National Park and commands a spectacular view of Mt. Everest (8,848 meters). From a viewpoint, a panoramic view of Mt. Everest and many other high and awe-inspiring peaks, including Amadablam (6,856 m), Lhotse (8516 m), and Nuptse (7872 m), is described by many as the most beautiful peak they have ever seen. The concluding days of that trek will be spent in the delightful and scenic villages of Khunde (3700 m) and Khumjung (3800m), where you will have the opportunity to interact with the legendary Sherpa people and participate in their astonishing traditional lifestyle.

A half an hour flight to Lukla, then two days of trekking into Namche Bazaar, Namche Bazaar is the Sherpa’s headquarters. Explore the National Park Office, Monastery, Sherpa Museum, Everest View Point, and homeland of Sherpa village Khunde and Khumjung in one full day. Continue walking for 4–5 hours to reach Tengboche, the famous monastery. Many tourists join the daily worship celebration in the Tengboche monastery at 3 p.m. One full day, comes back down to Lukla to take a short flight back to Kathmandu, end your trip.

Day by day itinerary

Day 01: Kathmandu to Lukla (2840 m) continues trek to Phakding (2640m), 3.30 hours, overnight at Namaste Lodge or See You Lodge or similar Hotel (B/L/D).

Note: in the season time, there are no direct flight to Lukla (air traffic in Kathmandu airport) so early morning drive to Ramechhap airport, 4 hours and flight to Lukla and continues trekking to Phakding.

Day 02: Phakding trekking to Namche Bazaar (3440 m), 5.30 hours (B/L/D), overnight at Hotel Namche or similar Hotel.

Day 03: Explore Everest view point Hotel, Namche bazaar, Khunde and Khumjung Sherpa villages, 4/6 hours (B/L/D), overnight at Hotel Namche or similar Hotel.

Day 04: Namche Bazzar trek to Tengboche 3860m, 4.30 hours (B/L/D), overnight at Hotel Himalaya or Tashidele Lodge or similar Hotel.

Day 05: Tengboche trekking to Manju, 4.30 hours (B/L/D), overnight at Hotel Manju or similar Hotel.

Day 06: Manju trek to Lukla, 4 hours (B/L/D), overnight at Hotel Buddha or Hotel The Nest or similar Hotel.

Day 07: Flight back to Kathmandu and sightseeing or shopping/end trip (B), overnight Hotel.

Note: It is noticeable that Lukla flight is depending on weather. It is possible to drive to Sallery or Thandanda (2 days drive and one day trek, extra 3 days). It is possible to share the Heli too. If you are interest to do Chitwan Jungle Safari, White Water River Rafting, Paragliding, Bungee Jump, Let us know, Those programs need a few extra days.

Cost and payment details

The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Cost Including:

Transport: - Kathmandu to Lukla and Lukla to Kathmandu flight ticket (Sita Air/ Tara Air/ Yeti Air/ Summit Air). Airport drop and pick up by Car/ Van. If the flight from Ramechhap airport, we provide both way transport to/from Ramechhap.
Hotel Accommodation: Six nights, Hotel accommodation - Lukla- Hotel The Nest, Phakding - Sherpa Lodge, Namche Bazaar - Hotel Namche, Tengboche - Hotel Gomba or Himalaya Guest House.
Food: Three times meals - Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner (one items). You can choose the menu. There are server items on the menu.
Permits: You need Sagarmath National Park permit, TIMS trekking permit and Local entry permit or fees. We will collect all permit before your departure except the Local entry permit. Local entry permit we pay in Lukla.
Guide/Porter: We provide a First Aid and Eco trained & Government licensed holder professional equipped English-speaking guide. Porter on request (Maximum weight for a porter is 25 Kg). For the guide or porters are includes accommodation, meals, daily salary, equipment, transportation & Insurance.
Equipment: We will provide blanket so that not need sleeping bag. Please check personal trekking equipment in check list which is not includes.
Others: Cargos fees, load upload to/from Lukla. First Aid Kit, Travel & Rescue arrangement. All government taxes/ service charges.

Cost excludes:

Personal things: Personal trekking gears, porter, Personal natural expensive, personal trekking insurance.
Drinks: Hot drinks, hot water, hot showers, tea /coffee, cold drinks.

Notes: Payment should be made 20 % of total amount in advance. Full amount must be paid before your trip starts.

Cancellation should be made 48 hours before departure and 20% cancellation charge is applicable beside Tax, transportation, permits and others fixed expensive.

In case of incomplete Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others days due to the client own problem, the amount of money paid not refundable.

If clients want to go Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others tours more than itinerary, they can pay after back from tour with per day basic but should be permission with Tour guide / Leader.
