Mardi Himal is a 5,587 m name by trekking peak. Mardi Himal is a peak under the much more noticeable Machapuchare in the Annapurna region of Nepal. Mardi Himal trekking is located in the east of the Modi Khola.
In 2012, the Mardi Himal Trek was opened, following a ridge towards the summit, with lodges and tea houses open to an elevation of 3,550 m, with a further climb to "Mardi Base Camp" at 4,500 m. The peak itself is classified by the Nepalese government as a "trekking peak".
Mardi Himal is one of the striking and beautiful treks in Nepal, uncrowned terrains providing the golden chance to explore traditional villages, incredible scenery, infinite and diversity of culture, spectacular views of silvery mountains and tempting views of the river and exotic valley can be seen on the way of the trekking trail. Although Mardi Himal is the shortest and probably the easiest of our trekking in Nepal, to maximize both your pleasure and your chances of success, you need. It therefore makes a visit to the Himalaya a real possibility for those who hither to have not been able to find the time to join a longer trekking.
We have few optional itineraries; one itinerary begins Mardi Himal trek from Hangja 1070 meters, half an hour drive from Pokhara. The trek follows the Mardi Khola for 2 days before turning and climbing the ridge line for 3 more days before reaching base camp. There is another way to visit Madi Himal trekking starting from Dhampus Phedi or Kande. We will bring you Forest camp continues to Mardi Himal Base Camp 4500 meters then return the same distance through Landruk to Pokhara within 6 days. Another itinerary starts from Phedi all the way to forest camp, base camp and to end Bhiujung or Siding then drive to Pokhara within 6-7 days.
It is an available basic lodge during the peak season, but if you are planning to visit in the off season, we need to check. If you are planning to start from Hangja and east base camp, we need to prepare camping. Asian Hiking Team mention three itineraries, please you can choose your time and budget.
Mardi Himal Itinerary for 7 days Kathmandu to Kathmandu
Day 01: Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist bus 6 hours drive, 200 km overnight at hotel (BB).
Day 02: Pokhara to Phedi half an hour drive and trek to Deurali 2000 m, 5-6 hours, overnight at hotel (B/L/D).
Day 03: Deurali to Forest Camp 3050 m 4-6 hours, overnight Lodge (B/L/D).
Day 04: Forest Camp to High Camp 3600 m, 5-6 hours, overnight at lodge (B/L/D).
Day 05: High Camp day trip to Mardi Himal West Base Camp and return to High Camp 6-9 hours (B/L/D).
Day 06: High Camp to All the way trek to Bhiujung or Sidhing 5-7 hours trekking, overnight hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 07: Sidhing to Pokhara 3-4 hours driving by Jeep, and continues drive to Kathmandu, 6-8 hours drive, 200 km overnight hotel in Kathmandu, end your trip (B).
Note: If you want to stay extra days in Pokhara, it is also possible. The itinerary is subject to change as your interest and time frame. It is possible to make short or long itinerary or combine to Annapurna base camp or Poon Hill trekking too.
Cost and payment details
The cost is depending on group size, affected due to the requirement of number of guides and porters, requisite of Hotel in Kathmandu, method of land/air transport. The itinerary is changeable and modifiable as per needs and time frame of trekkers. Cost will be re calculated if the itinerary is changed or modified. Terms and Conditions:
Payment should be made 20 % of total amount in advance. Full amount must be paid before your trip starts.
Cancellation should be made 48 hours before departure and 20% cancellation charge is applicable beside Tax, transportation, permits and others fixed expensive.
In case of incomplete Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others days due to the client own problem, the amount of money paid not refundable.
If clients want to go Trekking / Tour / Rafting / Climbing / Expedition / Jungles safari / or others tours more than itinerary, they can pay after back from tour with per day basic but should be permission with Tour guide / Leader.
