Everest is standing east of Nepal, to China’s border. The Everest trek is understandably one of the world's most popular and magnificent hiking destinations in Nepal. It offers a fascinating and pleasant trekking experience to the trekkers. Mt. Everest, the highest mountain in the world, was first climbed by Tenzing Sherpa and Edmund Hillary in 1953. Then it has become the famous trekking purpose for tourists in the world.
Everest trekking is famous for the spectacular view of the mountains as well as the sociability and loyalty of its inhabitants of Sherpa. Sherpa are also famous for mountaineering. Everest trek provides trekkers the opportunity to enjoy incredible natural beauty of Nepal, panoramic view of the surrounding Himalayan huge like Mt. Everest (8848 m), Lhotse, Cho Oyu Makalu, Amadablam and many others. This trekking allows you a chance to be familiar with the culture, religion, and lifestyle of the Himalayan people called Sherpa.
Everest trek begins with a scenic flight to Lukla from Kathmandu. From Lukla start your trekking to the base camp of the world's highest mountain "Mt Everest", follows the Dudh Koshi River valley. We pass through the green terraced villages, hastening rivers, suspension bridges, lush forests with beautiful views of the world's highest snow capped peaks. In that trek you pass through the famous places like Phakding, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche etc. where you can get first-hand experience of their culture and life. The highest point of our trekking trip is at Kalapattar at an altitude of 5545 meters, where we get an outstanding panoramic view of Khumbu Himal peaks and its glaciers, including Mount Everest.
The major highlights of the Everest trekking are the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Sagarmatha National Park”, Kalapattar, Namche Bazaar, Khunde and Khunjung Valley etc. On Everest trek you may see the wild animals and birds like snow leopard, red panda, as well as explore various flora and fauna. We can visit the Everest trek in the Everest the whole year, however the best time to go is from March to May and September to Mid-December.
Asian Hiking Team organizes Everest base camp trek full board packages including all your permits, accommodation, meals, guide, porters, flight tickets, all land transport etc. That means you are free from all concern. It is also possible to hire a guide or a porter service, which you can take benefit from our guide and porter experience and knowledge.
Day 01: Kathmandu to Phakding (2640 m); Flight to Lukla (2840m) 35 minutes and 3–4 hours trekking to Phakding, overnight at Namaste Lodge or See you Lodge or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Note: in the season time, there are no direct flight to Lukla (air traffic in Kathmandu airport) so early morning drive to Ramechhap airport, 4 hours and flight to Lukla and continues trekking to Phakding.
Day 02: Phakding to Namche (3540m); 5 hours trekking to Namche Bazar, overnight at Hotel Namche or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 03: Namche Bazaar; Rest day for Acclimatization, explore Namche Bazar, overnight at Hotel Namche or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 04: Namche to Tengboche (3767m); 4.30 hours trekking to Tengboche or Tyangboche, overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 05: Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m); 5-6 hours trekking to Dingboche, overnight at Hotel Good Luck or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 06: Dingboche to Lobuje (4900m); 4–5 hours trekking to Lobuje, overnight at Hotel Peak 15 or Hotel Sherpa or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 07: Lobuje to Gorap-shep (5170m); trekking to Gorep-shep 3/4 hours, overnight at Hotel Snow Land Lodge, Everest Inn or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 08: Gorepshep to Pheriche (4130m); Climb to Kalapattar and 4/6 hours trekking to Pheriche, overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 09: Pheriche to Namche (3540m); 5/6 hours trekking to Namche Bazar, overnight at Hotel Namche or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 10: Namche to Lukla (2840m); 6 hours trekking to Lukla, overnight at Hotel The Nest or Hotel Buddha or similar hotel (B/L/D).
Day 11: Kathmandu (1360 m); flight to Kathmandu, finish trip, last minutes shopping and rest, overnight at Hotel (BB).
Note: The itinerary is subject to change as your interest and time frame.It is noticeable that Lukla flight is depending on weather. It is possible to drive to Sallery or Thandanda (2 days drive and one day trek, extra 3 days). It is possible to share the Heli too. If you are interest to do Chitwan Jungle Safari, White Water River Rafting, Paragliding, Bungee Jump, Let us know, Those programs need a few extra days.

What is includes in package service?
Permit and Documents: Asian Hiking Team provide you Sagarmath (Everest) National park permit and Local permit in Lukla. You do not need TIMS permit now a day. Local permit check post in Lukla and National park permit check in Manju.
Transportation: Asian Hiking Team provide both way flight ticket from Kathmandu to Lukla/Kathmandu. In the season time there are no direct flight from Kathmandu so we provide tourist bus to Ramechhap airport and flight to Lukla and return (both way). We will free pick up from your hotel to/from Airport. Our staff help you to reconfirm your ticket or any problems in Airport. We have free service for cargo to your trek gear to/from Lukla. The trip is fully organized.
Accommodation: 10 nights Hotel Accommodation includes. Asian Hiking Team provide the best hotel during the trekking. All our hotels running hot and cold water, net and clean. We provide the sharing basic accommodation. If you want private room also possible on request. Most of the night we provide attach bathroom but not everywhere (the last part of trek hotel has not attached bathroom). We book all accommodation before start trek.
Meals: Asian Hiking Team provide breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, every day. You can choose food from menu and order. Drinks are unlimited so that if you want hot and cold drinks, you can pay yourself.
Guide and Sherpa porter: Asian Hiking Team have one experience, English speaking trekking guide to every group. If more than 7 persons, one extra Sherpa supporting guide. Two clients/members, one Porter. All our staff has many years of experience and has been EBC route many times. We used local Guide and Sherpa porter because the local people can take a benefit. Our porter carry 25 KG. We provide all guide and porter has trekking insurance, equipment, daily wages, accommodation, meals.
Equipment: Asian Hiking Team provide sleeping bag or blanket for our clients during the trekking. We provide down Jacket on your request. The others gear you need to prepare yourself. If you need further equipment list, check in equipment page or email us.
Government Taxes/Service Charge: Yes, the cost includes all the government taxes, VAT, Local Tax, company service charge etc. BUT the cost is not including guide or porters tips. The tips are minimum 10% of total cost.
What is Excludes?
Meals and Accommodation in Kathmandu, Soft/hard drinks, drinking water, Tea/ coffee during trekking except includes part, hot shower, internet & electricity bills during trekking, Personal trekking gears & clothing, Medical evacuation in case of emergency, expenses incurred due to mishaps, landslide, strikes, political unrest weather etc. in such case extra will be charged as per actual, and Tips for staff or Donation.
