Asia Hiking Team an only one trekking agency who operate the Island and Lobuje Peak climbing from Chhukum or Dingboche. The other trekking agencies also give us to operate the climbing trip. In the peak season from Sep. For Dec. and March to June always our guide stays in Dingboche. We will collect all the necessary documents and insurance from Kathmandu office. You can directly meet the guide whenever you are in Dingboche and start the trip to base camp continues summit. The Asian Hiking Team have all climbing gear store in Dingboche so you do not need to carry heavy gears from Kathmandu. Our guide checks your equipment in Dingboche than start your trip to base camp. During the season time our tented Camping is in Island peak base camp with all necessary kitchen and camping equipment.   

Island peak derives its name, as the mountain looks like a sea of ice from along with one of the most enjoyable climbing experience, scaling of the Imja Tse or Island Peak gets rewarded by some of the most spectacular scenery of Himalayas in the Everest region. Once on the summit, you will see that the giant mountains, Nuptse (7,879m), Lhotse (8,501m), and Lhotse Shar (8,383m) make a semi circle in the north. The views of Makalu (8475m) in the east, Baruntse and Ama Dablam in the south add more charm in climbing Island Peak.

Climbing Schedule

Day 01: Meet Asian Hiking Team staff in Dingboche, check equipment and briefing by climbing leader, overnight stay yourself Hotel/Lodge.

Day 02: After breakfast trek to Island Base camp and preparation class, Overnight Tented camp (L/D).

Day 03: Early Morning Island Summit and return to Base Camp, overnight Tented camp (B/L/D).

Day 04: Hot Camp breakfast and own way trekking to Chhukum (B).

Note: There are no water in high camp so normally climber/s are not want overnight stay in High Camp hower if you interest please let me know. B= Breakfast, L= Lunch and D= Dinner.
