Day by day itinerary:
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1340 m), Meet Asian Hiking Team staff, transfer to Hotel, overnight Hotel (B).
Day 02: City Sightseeing; Full day sightseeing and preparation for trekking, overnight in Kathmandu (1340 m) Hotel (BB).
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi / Malinga by tourist bus 3 hours, and join rafting programs for 3 hours, and drive to Pokhara (900 m), 5–6 hours driving by bus, overnight at hotel (BB/L).
Trekking Starting
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul 1.30 hours and trek to Ulleri (2070m), 4–6 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel, Super view or similar (B/L/D).
Option - There are seasonal road to Ulleri. It is possible to drive Pokhara to Ulleri 3–4 hours by jeep as well.
Day 05: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2850m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Hungry Eye or Hotel Sunny or similar (B/L/D).
Day 06: Early morning 45 minutes hike to Poon Hill for sunrise view, return to hotel, breakfast and trek to Tadapani (2680m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Himalayan Guest house or similar (B/L/D).
Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong (1950m), 4.30 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Paradise or Chhorong Cottage or similar (B/L/D).
Day 08: Chhomrong to Himalaya (2920m), 6/7 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar (B/L/D).
Day 09: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Annapurna Sanctuary Lodge or similar (B/L/D).
Option:It is possible to stay overnight in MBC (Machhapurchhe base camp) and next day early morning visit to ABC then return to Bamboo.
Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m), 6 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Buddha or similar (B/L/D).
Day 11: Bamboo to Jinu Danda (1730m), 5 hours trekking, visit natural hot spring and take a natural hot bath, overnight at Hotel Evergreen or similar (B/L/D).
Day 12: Jinu Danda to Nayapul (1180m), 5/6 hours trekking and drive to Pokhara 1.30 hours, overnight at hotel (BB/L).
Trekking End
Option: There are seasonal road nearby Jhinudanda, so it is possible Jeep drive to Pokhara 3–4 hours.
Day 13: Sightseeing and relaxing in Pokhara - Sightseeing in International mountain Museum, Devil's waterfalls, Gupteshwor Cave, Temple, Gorge, and Fewa lake by car with guide, overnight at hotel (BB).
Chitwan Trip start
Day 14: Pokhara to Chitwan by tourist bus, 5 hours drives and jungle activities start, overnight in Chitwan at Hotel Hermitage or Jungle Wildlife Camp or similar (B/L/D).
Day 15: Full day Jungle activities, overnight in Chitwan. (B/L/D).
Day 16: Wake-up Call, rest of programs, breakfast and departure to Kathmandu by tourist bus 5 hours drive, overnight at hotel (BB).
Option: it is possible flight from Chitwan to Kathmandu (extra cost) as well.
Chitwan Trip end
Day 17: Departure – drop to airport as your flight schedule, own way journey to home or next trip (B).
Details Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1340m), Asian Hiking Team staff, transfer to Hotel, overnight at Hotel (B).
Arrive in Kathmandu, meet our staff and transfer to a hotel in Kathmandu, at 7-8 pm group meeting and tour briefing at hotel, overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 02: City Sightseeing and preparation for trekking, overnight at Hotel (BB).
Guided city tour; after breakfast, 9 AM start Asian Hiking Team city guide will come to your hotel. First we drive to Pashupatinath Temple, the Hindus pilgrims’ place where the death body is burnt. Second, bring to Buddhanath stupa, which is one of the biggest stupa in the world. Third, drive to Swayambhunath it's called “monkey Temple” and at last visit Kathmandu Durbar Squire, the old “historical palace” 4–6 hours, check equipment or shopping in Thamel, overnight at Hotel.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Charaudi / Malinga by tourist bus 3 hours, and join rafting programs for 3 hours, and drive to Pokhara (900 m), 5-6 hours driving by bus, overnight at hotel (BB/L).
At 7am start drive from Kathmandu is approx 3 hours’ by tourist bus to the rafting starting point called Malinga or Charaudi 85KM (Prithivi Highway). Rafting trip hitting a few class 2 or 3 rapids called "LADISE DELIGHT” and stopping for lunch. After lunch, white water hit a class 2 to 3 rapid called "UPSET" and "SURPRISE" Finally, finish the rafting and drive to Pokhara by bus 3-4 hours. Transfer to hotel, dinner, overnight in Pokhara.
Day 04: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul 1.30 hours and trek to Ulleri (2070m), 4–6 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel, Super view or similar (B/L/D).
6.30 wake-up call, 7.00 breakfast 8.30 drive 1.30 hours to Nayapool by private vehicle from Pokhara. After a short 15-20 minute walk along the banks of the Modi Khola, we reach Birethanti (1,015 m) a large village with many shops and hotels. From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Burundi Khola valley. The trail climbs steadily up the side of the valley to a Hile at 1,495 m and after a short climb, we reach Tikhedhunga at 1,570 m. We continue to walk on towards the steep climb to Ulleri, a large Magar and Poon village at an altitude of 2,070m. Today’s walk is relatively short and easy, a preface to the trekking experience in the Annapurna. Overnight at a guest house/lodge.
Option - There are seasonal road to Ulleri. It is possible to drive Pokhara to Ulleri 3–4 hours as well.
Day 05: Ulleri to Ghorepani (2850m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Hungry Eye or similar (B/L/D).
After brekfast we start day trip, the trail ascends more gently from this point, through fine forests of oak and rhododendrons towards Banthanti at 2,250 m. Then we trek towards Nangethanti at 2,460m. After one and half an hour walk, we arrived at Ghorepani (2,850m). Overnight at a guest house/Lodge.
Day 06: Early morning 45 minutes hike to Poon Hill for sunrise view, return to hotel, breakfast and trek to Tadapani (2680m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Himalayan Guest house or similar (B/L/D).
Today, very early in the morning, we start an hour climbing to Poon Hill at an elevation of 3,210 m, a brilliant mountain range spectacle; this vantage point provides an unobstructed view of the sunrise over the high Himalayas. There we spend about 1 hour, then returning to Ghorepani we take a hot breakfast at a hotel. Then we make a climb along ridges and through pine and rhododendron forests to Deurali (2,960m). After that we descend to the Banthanti, then turn off to Tadapani (2680m) 5 hours. Overnight at a guest house/Lodge.
Day 07: Tadapani to Chhomrong (1950m), 4.30 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Paradise or Chhorong Cottage or similar (B/L/D).
Leaving Tadapani, we descend steep downhill through the rhododendron forests and then the trail eases as we reach Gurjung which is the village of Gurung people, with an easy walk to Chomrong at an elevation of 1950m. Overnight at a guest house/Lodge.
Day 08: Chhomrong to Himalaya (2920m), 6/7 hours trekking, overnight at Hotel Himalaya or similar (B/L/D).
Today the trail drops to the Chhomrong Khola, and again we continue climbing to Sinuwa where few lodges and enter the beautiful forest to reach Khuldighar at 2,380 m where it was ACAP (Annapurna Conservation Area) check post before but now just old hut only. You can see the eye charting view of Fishtail. From here very steeply down a rock bank then levels out, running through thickets of bamboo at the bottom of the gorge, always on the west side of the river. We walk through bamboo, then rhododendron, bamboo forests continue following the Modi Khola Gorge to cross the Dovan then to the Himalayan Hotel, 2920 m, there are few lodges only. Overnight at a guest house/ Lodge.
Day 09: Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m), 5 hours trekking, overnight at Annapurna Sanctuary Lodge or similar (B/L/D).
Today the trail climbs past the Hinko Cave, Deurali there are some tea houses / hotels and then Machhapuchhre Base Camp, which isn’t really a base camp since climbing the mountain is not permitted. Since it is totally surrounded by mountains, this area is known as the Annapurna Sanctuary. Two hours trek from Machhapuchhre Base Camp takes you to the Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) at elevation of 4,130 m. There, you will view unobstructed views of mountain scenery, which is very spectacular, total 5/6 hours trekking, overnight at a guest house.
Day 10: Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m), 6 hours, trekking, overnight at hotel Buddha or similar (B/L/D).
Walk up very early to explore the sunrise view and have hot breakfast then we follow the same trail down today the trail drops by 1,700m to the bank of Modi Khola to Bamboo at 2,345m where there are a little tea house/lodges available to stay at overnight at a Lodge.
Option: It is possible to stay overnight in MBC (Machhapurchhe base camp) and next day early morning visit to ABC then return to Bamboo.
Day 11: Bamboo to Jinu Danda (1730m), 4-5 hours trekking, visit a natural hot spring and take a hot bath overnight at Hotel Evergreen or similar (B/L/D).
We follow the same trail until Chommrong. From Chhomrong the trail descends very steeply to the Jhinu hot spring, where you can bathe in natural hot springs, 4/5 hours trekking, check hotel and go to hot spring it takes 20 minute to Modi Khola river bank, return to hotel, dinner. Overnight at a guest house/hotel.
Day 12: Jinu Danda to Nayapul (1180m) 5-6 hours trekking and drive to Pokhara 1.30 hours, overnight at hotel (BB/L).
From Jhinu hot springs we walk on the right side of Modi Khola for 5/6 hours to Birethanti which can be considered one of the best and the most relaxing walks of the entire trek. We reach Nayapul then one and half an hour drive will take us back to Pokhara, transfer to hotel, visit in Fewa Lake side, dinner, and overnight at Hotel.
Option: There are seasonal road nearby Jhinudanda, so it is possible Jeep drive to Pokhara 3-4 hours.
Day 13: Sightseeing and relaxing in Pokhara - Sightseeing in International mountain Museum, Devil's waterfalls, Gupteshwor Cave, Temple, Gorge, and Fewa lake by car and city guide, overnight at Himalayan inn or Similar (BB).
Davi's Waterfall; locally known Patale Chhango in the southern flank of the Pokhara valley where the stream flowing from Fewa Lake collapses and surges down the rock into a deep gage, leaping through several potholes. International Mountain Museum; One museum displays the lifestyles and history of the Gurungs, Thakalis and Tharu and other natural history museums and is functioned by the Annapurna Conservation area project. Butterflies, insects, birds and wildlife found in the Annapurna region. Barahi Temple; this is an important religious monument in Pokhara. Built almost in the middle of Phewa Lake, this two-storied pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, the protector’s deity representing the female force Shakti. Devotees may be seen, especially on Saturday, carrying male animals and fowl across the lake to be sacrificed to the deity. Phewa Lake is situated at an altitude of 784 m above sea level, with an island temple at the middle of the lake. It is the second-largest lake in the kingdom. Temple situated at the island is the two storied pagoda dedicated to the boar magnification of Ajima. The reflection of Mt. Machhapuchhare & Annapurna seen in it is serene water. Thick forest lies on the adjoining southern slopes of the lake. Mahendra cave: Mahendra cave lies at the north of the Pokhara valley. It is a large limestone cave that is one of the few stalagmites stalactite caves found in Nepal.
Day 14: Pokhara to Chitwan National Park, 5 hours’ drive by tourist coach, start jungle activities, overnight at hotel Hermitage or Jungle Wildlife Camp or similar (B/L/D).
Arrival in Chitwan, Asian Hiking Team staff, transfer to Hotel, welcome drinks, briefing by jungle guide, Lunch and Tharu cultural Village visit, Museum and sun set tour, Dinner, overnight hotel.
Day 15: Full day Jungle activities in Chitwan, overnight hotel Hermitage or Jungle Wildlife Camp or similar (B/L/D).
Wake-up call, breakfast, Elephant Back Safari, Elephant bath, Lunch, Canoeing trip, Jungle walking, Elephant breeding center visit, evening walk, dinner and Tharu stick Cultural dance, overnight in Chitwan.
Day 16: Rest of programs and drive to Kathmandu, overnight at hotel (BB).
Wake-up Call, bird watching, breakfast and departure to Kathmandu by tourist bus, transfer to hotel in Kathmandu, free time, shopping and welfare dinner, overnight at hotel in Kathmandu.
Option: it is possible flight from Chitwan to Kathmandu airport (extra cost) as well.
Day 17: Departure from Nepal, drop to airport as your flight schedule, own way journey to home (BB).
