The Trisuli river valley on the east separates it from the Langtang Himal; the Budhi (Buri) Gandaki valley and the Shyar Khola valley on the west separate it from the Shringi Himal and the Mansiri Himal.
During the Ganesh Himal cultural trekking, you can observe the different ways of the life and culture, and have close contact with the rural people in the sparcly settled villages. You will see the village lifestyle of those living in these more isolated rural areas of Nepal, almost all of which are Tamangs (semi Mongolion). The Ganesh Himal trek is known for its exposure to and immersion into the Tamang culture.
